Happy Easter! (Week 31)

Hello everyone! Hope everyone is having a great Easter! This is not really a weekly email and I will get straight to the point. This past week has definitely been an eventful one. Last Friday, I was diagnosed with this thing called Bell's Palsy. Scary. Last Wednesday, the right side of my lip was feeling a little weird and by Thursday , I lost all control of the muscle in the right side of my face. On Friday , I received a priesthood blessing and went to the doctor to get it checked out. It was definitely an expensive day. Had to see a nerve specialist, get a MRI and all that fun stuff. The bad news is, I have zero control of the muscle in the right side of my face and I'm on some meds for this week. Good news is, in a couple months I should be all good. Apparently it is due to a bit of a virus I've had recently on top of the stresses of being a missionary and that caused a bit of minor nerve damage. So I'm sorry in advance for all of my pics with no smiles in them thes

Come hear a prophet's voice! ⛩ (Week 30)

皆さんこんにちは! Hope everyone had a great week this week! Elder Yara and I have been working pretty hard this week. Remember how I said the weather would be great this past week? Well it was fantastic... for like half of one day, then right back into the rain. Believe me, I want some good pictures of the Sakura as well, but we haven't exactly had time for a photo shoot yet. I always enjoy being able to attend those trainings and get together with homies in the zone. It was way good. Anyway, after that, we taught Eikawa, which is always way fun. I love being able to teach English! Plus the students are all j

Hello everyone! Hope everyone has had a great week this week! Also hope everyone enjoyed general conference! As for all of us here in Japan, we will be watching next week because of the language translation delay. You'd better believe we are all way excited though! As for this past week, not much to report. Just lots of finding and trying to meet with people. I'm sure people are tired of receiving calls and visits from us by now lol. Because we have had a bit of a difficult time finding people to teach recently (and the weather has been pretty terrible on top of that), we decided to work with the people we have already found. We have been calling people like crazy and knocking on more doors than a cop in Miami. Come rain, freeze, thunderstorm, or all three, you'd better believe we are biking through it and stopping by that potential investigators home! The best part is, we are having so much fun through it all! I don't think I've ever been so soaking wet and happy a
